About yachtguideuae

Who runs this site, how it makes money, and what the listings actually are.

This site does two things. It lists 54 charter boats from 12 UAE operators, each under the operator's own name and at the operator's own published rate. And it publishes practical guides to chartering here: what an hour on the water costs, which marina to depart from, what you can bring on board, when the season is at its best.

Why it exists

Search for a yacht charter in Dubai and you mostly find brokers. The same boats show up on a dozen websites under different names, the price is hidden behind an enquiry form, and it is genuinely hard to work out who operates the vessel you are about to put a deposit on.

The rule here is the opposite: every listing names the company that runs the boat and shows the rate that company publishes. If an operator doesn't publish a rate, we don't make one up. Rates do change, so confirm the price with the operator before you book.

How we make money

Operators can pay a flat fee for their listing, and some tour links on the site are affiliate links, which are marked where they appear (see the affiliate disclosure). We don't add a margin to charter rates, we don't take a commission on your booking, and a paid listing doesn't buy a better ranking.

What happens when you enquire

Nothing is charged on this site. A person reads your enquiry and passes it to the operator; from there you agree the details with them directly and pay them, not us. If something on the site is wrong or out of date, tell us via the contact page and we'll fix it.
