Yes, children and babies are absolutely allowed on private yacht charters in the UAE. It is a popular family activity. However, there are safety rules you must follow.
Life Jackets
By UAE maritime law, children under a certain age (usually under 12, depending on the emirate) must wear a life jacket at all times while the boat is moving. The operator will provide child-sized life jackets, but you must inform them of the children's ages when booking so they have the correct sizes on board.
Supervision
The crew are there to operate the boat safely, not to babysit. Parents or guardians are entirely responsible for supervising their children at all times.
Do children count towards the capacity limit?
Yes. Every human being on board, regardless of age (even a newborn baby), counts as one passenger against the boat's legal capacity limit. If a boat has a capacity of 10, you cannot bring 10 adults and 1 baby.
